But none quite compare to the magical celebration we recently had the honor of filming at the enchanting Villa Erba on the picturesque Lake Como. Katya and Joey's wedding an absolute feast for the eyes, and it was made possible by an extraordinary team of vendors who worked tirelessly to create an unforgettable experience.
The festivities kicked off with a welcome day at the famous Lido di Lenno, where guests arrived in style, gliding ona big boat across the waters of Lake Como. Alejandra Poupel and Sacks Productions, the wedding planners and producers teams, orchestrated an afternoon filled with fun and relaxation. From ping pong tables to serene lakeside lounging, guests reveled in the beauty of Lake Como. And that was just the beginning.
The second evening left everyone speechless for the welcome dinner hosted at the exquisite Villa Gastel. The villa, adorned with Italian charm, became a canvas for Vincenzo Dascanio's design and floral artistry. The tables were adorned with lush arrangements of locally sourced blooms that effortlessly merged with the villa's historic charm (not to mention the roosters sculptures !) . The warm glow of fairy lights, the aroma of Italian cuisine, and the soft hum of laughter created an ambiance like no others.
Throughout Katya and Joey's wedding weekend, our team had the privilege of capturing every emotion, every tear, and every joyful (and crazy) moment. The stunning work of Bottega53, the talented photographers, perfectly complemented our cinematography, ensuring that every detail of this extraordinary celebration would be etched in the couple's hearts and minds forever.

The new Kinefinity LF2 camera, known for its exceptional image quality and dynamic range, played a pivotal role in achieving the cinematic brilliance we sought. Pairing it with Aivascope adapters brought a mesmerizing anamorphic look to our shots, adding a touch of vintage elegance to the modern wedding setting. The Mamiya lenses we used further elevated the visual storytelling, allowing us to craft unique, character-rich frames.
